Safety is our number one priority
All too common occurrence of toddlers burning their hands and faces on glass front fireplaces, promoted us to deal with this in a proactive approach. We were ready well before the new law was passed that required all new fireplaces to have safety screen permanently attached to the front. Every one of our gas fireplaces has been designed, tested and manufactured with new safety screens. We want every owner to have the peace of mind that they can leave their toddler playing in front of the fireplace, knowing they will be fine.
Since a lot of our fireplaces are being used as zone heating and come with remote thermostats, we felt equally concerned that these screens be implemented ASAP. Please know that every Savannah Heating gas fireplace has this new safety feature installed.
